WELCOME to The Peanut Run 5K and 1-mile Fun Run / Walk sponsored by The Peanut Insitute and The National Peanut Board. The Peanut Run is Presented by Women in Peanut Leadership (WIPL) but open to ALL genders and ages.
Pre-race packet pick up will be held along with the Conference Registration and Hospitality on Monday June 8th from 4pm to 6pm at The Texas Peanut Producers booth in the exhibit area of the conference center.
The event will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, in time for you to get showered, dressed and have breakfast. The race will be chip timed and a legitimate 5K. Race start is 6:30 am. We will meet in the lobby of the hotel at 6:15am and walk together to the starting line at the front of the hotel.
The in-person registration fee for the 5k and Mile is $40 and includes BREAKFAST and a shirt (women's tank or men's crewneck) (shipping for virtual runners and late registrants is available for an additional $10). To have your shirt ready at race day, the cut-off date for registration is MAY 30, 2026. Registration after this date may result in a later delivery time on the shirt. In-person registrants will have breakfast available in the conference area of the hotel from 6:45am-7:45am.
We will have medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place both male and female for the 5k only.
WE ALSO HAVE VIRTUAL OPTIONS FOR BOTH THE 5K AND MILE! If you cannot make the conference but would like a shirt, you can enter the Virtual Peanut 5K or fun run and select the option for shipping of your shirt.
